Under the direction of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, Raipur Smart City Limited has been appreciated at the national level for better and useful compilation of data related to city development and public facilities.
Proper use of these available data will facilitate the implementation of innovations to be implemented for expansion of civic amenities, Raipur Smart City Ltd. These data on the use of basic public facilities were collected by the Urban Development Corporation and made available to the Government of India under the “India Urban Data Exchange Program”. These data will be used in innovations driven to expand civic amenities. Raipur Smart City has provided these data related to the projects of Municipal Corporation, Smart City Mission as well as programs and work plans run by other government departments working for facilities and public service, whose proper benefits are easily available to common citizens.
Raipur Smart City coordinated with various departments and made available to the Government of India after compiling related data. Kunal Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Director of Smart City Mission, and Dr. Inder Gopal, CEO, India Urban Data Exchange Program, Government of India, considering these figures as suitable figures for innovations. Raipur Smart City Limited has been appreciated for this efforts and have been sent a letter of appreciation to this effect to Mayank Chaturvedi, MD, Raipur Smart City.
