Nargis Khan from Balod district will be appearing in the class 10th board exam after scoring 100% in the IQ test this year.
This is the second occasion when a student from Chhattisgarh has qualified to appear in the board exam much before their age and school class in which they are studying.
The 12 year old has been granted Commission by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education to Appear in class 10th board exam.
According to the certificate granted by IQ test and Malin’s intelligence scale for Indian children MISIC, Nargis Khan scored 100% in the IQ test.
Her father Feroz Khan who is a former by profession and hills from the village Ghumka, of Balod district always believed in her abilities as he found her avid reader and quick learner, she also has that extraordinary ability of quick grasping power.
The girl always topped her classes with 99%. She can easily solve class 10 mathematical problems and speak fluent English compared to other students of her age and class.
To obtain the permission her father went to various offices including the Governor, Chief Minister and Collector to let her take the 10th class examination.
After appearing for the IQ level test, the Board allowed her to appear for class 10th examination. She said her exams are going well and she is confident of getting good scores.
Khan said he realized the child’s potential during the pandemic period and since that time she has been given the sense of freedom regarding her wish to study.
