In view of Holi festival, OPD services will remain closed on Friday in all government hospitals across the state including Raipur. At the same time, instructions have been given to stop corona vaccination for two days. Whereas, emergency services in hospitals will continue as usual. In view of the festival, rosters have been prepared in hospitals for duty in emergency services, under which special duties have been imposed on doctors and nursing staff. OPD, vaccination and testing have been stopped in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Medical Hospital, DKS Superspeciality Hospital, District Hospital and health centers of the capital.
A day before Holi, District Superintendent of Police Rajnesh Singh came live on internet media and provided necessary information to the general public about the upcoming festival. During this, he appealed to celebrate Holi peacefully and lovingly. Giving information about pre-Holi guidelines, he said that at present there is a model code of conduct regarding the Lok Sabha elections, so celebrate the festival keeping it in mind. He also shared information about the preparations of the police and also told the people that if any kind of problem arises, they should immediately inform the police, the police is available to help you all the time. SP Rajnesh Singh said that the police has made complete preparations so that everyone can enjoy the festival peacefully. The police has already taken action against the old goons and anti-social elements and sent them to jail and the police is also taking continuous action. In view of Holi, the police have formed 86 patrolling parties, which will keep a constant watch in the entire district, along with this, more than 150 fixed points have been made, where police personnel will be deployed all the time.
