Chhattisgarh’s biggest Wholesale Corridor will be built in Nava Raipur. For this, apart from Sector 35 in Nava Raipur, the land use of about 750 acres of land in the surrounding sectors has been changed. Officers of Nava Raipur Development Authority and Town and Country Planning informed this to the Chhattisgarh Chamber on Friday. The chamber president had met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel this week regarding the demand for land use change.
Following the instructions of the CM, all the procedures have been completed immediately and its information has been issued. Agricultural land has been converted into commercial land for wholesale market. Claims and objections were also invited for this. Notice for change of land use has been issued only after resolving all the objections.
Right now the business of wholesale and cloth is being done in different areas in the capital. There are many markets including Ramsagarpara, Telghani Naka, Golbazar, Gudhiyari, Petty Line, Halwai Lane, MG Road, Station Road, Malviya Road from where vehicles keep coming and going from morning to night. Vehicles keep loading and unloading on the narrow roads. Because of this, there is traffic jam on all these roads.
This affects the rest of the city’s roads. After shifting the shops and markets of all business organizations to Nava Raipur, the large population of the city will get relief from many problems including traffic. Chhattisgarh Chamber President Amar Parwani told that in the new wholesale market, MG Road Traders Association, Chhattisgarh Grocery Nuts, Wholesale Utensils, Confectionery, Raipur Dal Mill, Malviya Road and Sharda Chowk, Sharda Chowk-Guru Nanak Market, Chhattisgarh Plastic Manufacturer, Wholesale Grains, Raipur Shops and markets of electrical merchants, Golbazar traders, Chhattisgarh measurement manufacturers, etc. will shift to the new market.
Raipur Bardana, Chhattisgarh Tree Trade, Wholesale Stationery, Sadarbazar Sarafa, Raipur Wholesale Footwear, Raipur Cycle Merchant, Potato-Onion Aadhtiya, Agarbatti & Incense, Shriram Hosiery & Readymade, Raipur Wholesale Cloth Pandari, Banjari Road, Ravi Bhawan, Raipur Mobile, Raipur Shops and markets of medicine, scooter parts dealer, Katoratalab Association etc. will shift to the new market. This will be the biggest wholesale market of Chhattisgarh-Madhya Pradesh.
