Raipur, June 16, 2023 – The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur enthusiastically received delegates from Nagaland on Thursday, marking the commencement of phase two of the esteemed youth exchange program, Yuva Sangam, organized under the initiative ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.

During their visit, the Nagaland delegates will have the extraordinary opportunity to immerse themselves in the captivating cultural tapestry of the state. Their itinerary includes a captivating industrial visit to the renowned Bhilai Steel Plant, an exploration of the historic site of Sirpur, and a visit to the esteemed Governor’s House. Furthermore, they will have the pleasure of exploring the vibrant cities of Raipur and Naya Raipur, where a diverse range of recreational activities has been thoughtfully planned over the next four days.

Distinguished guests gracing the occasion include Dr. Sanjay Alang, the esteemed Divisional Commissioner of Raipur, who has been invited as the chief guest, and Rustam Sarang, an internationally acclaimed weightlifter, who will be present as a special guest.

The first phase of Yuva Sangam, launched in February of this year, witnessed an overwhelming participation of 1200 enthusiastic youngsters, with the initial batch having the privilege of exploring the picturesque northeastern region of India. This visionary program aims to foster meaningful connections among young people from different states, promoting an exchange of ideas and values while introducing them to the incredible diversity of Indian culture.

With NIT Raipur serving as the perfect host, the Yuva Sangam initiative continues to inspire and create lasting bonds among the youth, paving the way for a brighter and more interconnected India.
