Smart City Raipur add another feather on it’s cap

Raipur Smart City of Chhattisgarh has been honoured with International Award in Hong Kong. This award has been given for the digital door number project being installed in the houses of the city.   The Managing Director of Smart City has congratulated all the people associated with the project.

The award was received at The Asset Triple-A Awards ceremony organized by The Asset Group in Hong Kong, in which the Digital Door Number Project of Raipur Smart City Limited has been awarded at the international level, considering it as the best in the Best Payment and Collection Solution category.

The Editor and Chief of The Asset Group, Daniel Yew has given this award to Raipur Smart City.  Mayank Chaturvedi, Managing Director of Raipur Smart City, has congratulated the officials and employees of Municipal Corporation, Smart City and Project Partner Bank associated with the project for this.   He also appealed to the people to take full advantage of this facility.

The Asset Triple-A Awards, organized by The Asset Group every year at the international level, have been awarded to the Smart City’s DDN project. In which all the important countries of the Middle-East and Asian continent present their important projects on the world stage in front of the jury.   The jury then evaluate these projects by placing them on the parameters of qualitative and maximum benefit to the people. Then the winner is selected from among them.

Under this scheme, Raipur Smart City Limited and Municipal Corporation Raipur, along with project partner IndusInd Bank, is installing DDN plates in 3.11 lakh houses across the city. Through which the landlord can scan the QR code attached to this plate, pay property tax, water tax and other various taxes, as well as door-to-door garbage collection and 26 types of essential and emergency services sitting at home very easily.

DDN plates have been installed in 1.55 lakh houses in Raipur so far. These plates are to be installed in another 55 thousand houses in the next shift. According to Smart City, it will also be installed on all the remaining houses.  This is a great step towards digitization of services.
