Dalsi Daryani, 11-year-old daughter of Prakash Daryani, who lives in Vimal Venue, VIP Road, Amlidhi, has been awarded the title of Junior Miss India-2023. In the year-2023, auditions were held across the country under the My City event. This audition took place on 2 October 2022 in Raipur, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Surat, Nagpur. After the auditions, the Grand Finale was held on 23rd April at Nesco Auditorium Goregaon in Mumbai. It had actress Neha Dhupia and Miss Universe Noynita Lodh as judges.
Participants from Bhilai, Bilaspur, Durg and Dhamtari also reached from Chhattisgarh in the event. In the final of the Junior Miss India contest, four rounds were held namely talent, cultural, western dress and gown round. Based on this Dalsey was selected. There were rounds according to 4 to 6 years, 7 to 9 years, 10 to 12 years and 13 to 15 years. Three winners were selected in each age group. Dalsi Daryani has been selected from the 10 to 12 year age group.
Dalsy Daryani has won the titles of Miss Junior Chhattisgarh, Face of Shri Shivam, Miss Central Chhattisgarh at the age of six. She has also worked with actress Swara Bhaskar in the series Mrs. Falani.
Dalsi’s mother Juhi Daryani said that the husband is a businessman and she is a housewife. Daughter studies in sixth standard. Dalsy aspires to go into the modelling field, however, she is good at studies as well. Juhi said that there was a three-day program in Mumbai, in which she attended with the whole family. There were around 35 participants from across the country in the age group of 10 to 12 years, out of which Dalsi was selected. Dalsi told that she wants to bring laurels to the state and the country through modelling.
