A 24 year old nurse who was declared clinically brain dead has saved the lives of 6 people by donating her organ in Raipur on 26th February.
On February 18th she was suddenly collapsed and lost her consciousness following which she was brought for the treatment at AIMS Raipur. She was declared brain dead on 25th February.
Later, the family members of the deceased were counselled and later took a collective decision to donate the girl’s organs, i.e. the kidneys, corneas, liver and heart tissues, same was retrieved from the patient.
